When you are a Clever teacher and wish to use Exploros with your Clever account, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.
Existing Exploros Users
In case you already have an account in Exploros, you can either log in with Clever or open the Exploros app via the Clever app.
Log in from Exploros App
When you log in with Clever for the Exploros app page, you will be prompted to sign in to Clever using your Clever credentials. Once you do, you will automatically be logged into the Exploros App. If you are already logged in to Clever, you will be logged in to Exploros.
Login in from the Clever Portal
SSO (Saved Passwords) applications are icons in the Clever Portal that automatically log students and teachers into websites that do not currently have a formal integration with Clever. For the user, these icons appear to be the same as other resources in the Portal.
In order for an SSO (Saved Passwords) application to automatically log users into a website, you and your students must already have existing accounts with the website. Your district will provide Clever with credentials for these accounts. Clever's system securely saves this login information to help users automatically sign into the website from the Portal. New Exploros Users
New Exploros users will need to sign up with Clever when they create their accounts. The flow is different for teachers and students.
Teachers
Go to the Exploros site
Click the "I'm a Teacher" button
Select a Subject or add your subscription Token if you have one.
If you didn’t use a Token, select your campus.
Click on the Clever sign-up button. Once you do, you will be prompted to sign in to Clever with your Clever credentials.
At the end of this process, you will have a new Exploros account, which will be synced with your Clever account. Notice, this is an SSO integration only and the classes and rosters will not be synced.
Students
Students cannot sign up for Exploros on their own without using a class code. See method 1 in this article to learn how to add students using a class code.
Once your students have the class code they will need to:
Go to the Exploros app
Select "Join a class and sign up."
Add the class code that was provided by the teacher
Select Sign up with Clever. Once they do, they will be prompted to sign in to Clever with their Clever credentials.
