Exploros integrates with Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, ClassLink, and Clever, allowing you to import classes and keep rosters synchronized automatically.
In Exploros, everything is organized by classes. To assign learning experiences and track student progress, you must have at least one class in your account.
Import a Class
Before importing a class, make sure you are logged into Exploros through Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, ClassLink, or Clever.
To Import a Class
Open the side menu in Exploros.
Click the + button to create a new class.
If Exploros detects classes available through your connected platform, an import button, such as Import from ClassLink, will become available.
Click the import button and select the class you want to import.
Follow the prompts to:
Add a grade level
Select a subject
Apply a license, if required for your curriculum program
Once the import is complete:
All students in the selected class will be added to the Exploros class.
Student Exploros accounts will be created automatically if needed.
Students can access Exploros through their connected platform or a configured single sign-on method.
Note: Depending on your connected platform, you may be asked to select a specific course or section to import.
Sync an Existing Class
If students are added to or removed from the original class during the school year, you can sync the roster at any time.
To Sync a Class
Open the Exploros class that was originally imported from Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, ClassLink, or Clever.
Navigate to the Roster tab.
Click the sync button (for example, Sync with Google Classroom).
Exploros will update the class roster to match the current roster in the connected platform.
Important: Syncing makes the Exploros roster match the connected platform roster exactly. During the sync process, students may be added to or removed from your Exploros class based on changes made in the original class roster.
Student Access
Students imported through Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, ClassLink, or Clever are automatically added to the corresponding Exploros class. If they do not already have Exploros accounts, accounts will be created for them automatically. Students can then access Exploros through their connected platform using single sign-on (SSO).
