To navigate to reports, select All Classes and click on the Reports button.
Select the TEKS Details Report for the course of interest (there will be one for each course that you teach – World Cultures, Texas History or U.S. History). At present the reports are in beta, as data aggregation is tested at scale.
The TEKS Details report provides insights into how each class, or any student in a class, has interacted with the TEKS at a breakout level.
Choose a class and optionally choose a specific student in the class
Choose a Concept (e.g. History, Social Studies Skills)
Choose a Type (e.g. Readiness)
This will filter the report for the chosen TEKS breakouts. Each breakout will be listed in a single row. To the right of the breakout you can view various metrics, including:
number of experiences that address the breakout – this is given in the form of a ratio, where the first number is the number that the class or student has participated in, and the second number is the total possible within the collection. For example, 1/2 means that two experiences address the breakout, and only one has currently been taught to the selected student(s).
number of participating students
number of responses
average quiz item score
time spent (in minutes)
On the top left side of the reports you'll find the following features:
Suggested Experiences - checking this box will display all the standards and breakouts corresponding to the current filters. Clicking on the value in the "number of experiences that address the breakout" box will open a pop up with the names of the related experiences. This is a great way to find experiences that contain the breakouts you'd like to teach.
Export CSV - clicking on this will download the current search result in a spreadsheet format, displaying the standards, their corresponding breakouts, and the metrics for each one.
