Google Translate

Are you interested in using Exploros in multiple languages? You can with Google Translate! Add this Chrome extension for free. There are some options for Safari, but they are not currently free.

Steps to Use Google Translate

  1. Install the Google Translate extension for your Chrome Browser.

  2. Once installed, open up your Exploros app and navigate to any learning experience.

  3. Activate Google Translate on the page by using the Google Translate button in your browser tab bar.

Once translated, the page will be in the chosen language.

Text-to-Speech

Another useful tool for students is text-to-speech. Select any text you want read aloud, and choose Edit > Speech > Start Speaking from your browser. As a short cut, it is also often possible to right-click on the selected text and choose Start Speaking.

If you would like a video tutorial of using Google Translate or Text-to-Speech, please review the Translation and Text-to-Speech section of this webinar video.
