Note: If you need support for Administrator features for one of our publishing partners (e.g. WordlyWise, iSPIRE, etc), please reach out to them directly. The following information is for users of the Exploros Programs in Social Studies and English Language Arts.

Exploros has subscription features for tiers of users.

  • teachers have teaching features, and see reporting for all students, organized by classes

  • school-level administrators see class level reporting for all classes on campus, and can drill in to individual student work

  • district-level administrators see campus and class level reporting, and can drill in to individual student work

For more information on getting started with Teacher Subscription Features, please review this article.

If you are an Exploros Social Studies administrator and do not yet have the Instructional Improvement with the Exploros Social Studies Program Guide, please reach out on live chat and we'll send you a copy.

The Administrator Guide contains an overview of Exploros, and describes specific ways to use Exploros for instructional improvement. It covers aspects of Exploros Classroom Analytics, with the instructional rationale for many of the program features.

If you want to take a quick look at some of the program features for Administrators, we suggest you review the following:

Experience Pane (A live look at what is being taught on your campus or within your district)

Log in to app.exploros.com. Use the left hand navigation to choose your administrator view for any particular course (e.g. U.S. History). Choose Summary to see an overview of all activity from all subscription courses.

The default view is the Experience Pane, which is a live look at all the experiences (lessons) currently being taught. In this view you can see which teachers are currently teaching which experiences, and the average class progress through any particular experience.

You cannot "open up" a live experience in the Assigned area, but if you scroll down to the Ended Experiences, you can open up any one of them to view student work by clicking on the learning experience name.

Once in an Ended Experience, click Activity see all student posts. You can navigate through the scenes of an experience using the top navigation.

Reports Pane (A list of reports you can use for instructional improvement)

Click on the Reports button to review the top navigation to your reports.

Depending upon whether you are in a specific course (e.g. U.S. History, or in the Summary Reports) you will see various options.

Experience Summary Report. Watch this video for a quick overview of the Experience Summary Report. This is a list of every experience (lesson) that has been taught for your curriculum subscription. You can dynamically filter by any column by typing in the top row. For any experience listed, you see a few different metrics, as follows:

You can tool tip over any metric for a reminder of the icon meanings. For more details, please see this article.

Curriculum Progress Report. Curriculum progress reports show you how each class is progressing against the learning experiences in a course, on a per unit basis. For example, if you are monitoring 8th Grade U.S. History, you choose a Unit (e.g. The Revolution Era) and then see where each class is along the scope and sequence.

When viewing this report, you can choose any one of several different metrics:

TEKS Summary Report
The TEKS Summary Report provides information about how your campus or district is performing against the TEKS, using a variety of metrics. For more information about TEKS reporting, please review this article: TEKS Reports
